1. Paint antisepsis

The cost of painting and preserving method is low, but it is used for outdoor maintenance transactions and corrosion resistance is generally not as good as other long-term preservation methods. Therefore, it is mostly used for indoor steel structures or relatively easy to maintain outdoor steel structures.

2. Cathodic protection method

A more active metal is added to the surface of the steel structure to replace the corrosion of the steel. Commonly used in underwater or underground structures.

3. Weathering steel

Steels with better corrosion resistance than steels for general structural use are called weathering steels. They generally contain metals such as phosphorus, copper, nickel, chromium, and titanium to form a protective layer on the metal surface to improve corrosion resistance. Its low temperature impact toughness is also better than the general structure.

4. Hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion

Hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion method has a long service life, a high degree of industrial production, and stable quality. It is commonly used in outdoor steel structures that are subject to atmospheric corrosion and are difficult to maintain.
